GHOST HUNT - ONTARIO WOLF HUNTING

The timber wolf. Canada's ultimate predator. Highly intelligent with almost supernatural senses of hearing, smell and sight. It’s no wonder they’re often referred to as ghosts. Wolf numbers in Ontario are at an all- time high. If a trophy wolf hunt is on your bucket list, now is the time! Your hunt begins on Clearwater Lake, 55 miles north of International Falls/Fort Frances. From Clearwater, you’ll head north another 25 miles by snow machine to the outpost cabin. All hunts are done over baited sites inside portable or permanent blinds. Our blinds are set on frozen lakes and beaver ponds. Wolves use the surrounding areas as natural travel paths. We know. We’ve seen their signs and their movements. This is a daylight-to-dark hunt with long hours and outside temperatures that can drop well below freezing. But we make conditions inside quite pleasant. Our blinds have comfortable seating and plenty of warmth. We guarantee to give you the best advantage possible. The best shot. And speaking of that, most of your shots will range 100-250 yards. We recommend .243 caliber or higher. Harvesting a timber wolf can be challenging. They’re smart, cautious and tough. If just dreaming about it gets your adrenaline pumping, imagine the thrill of success. The bragging rights will last a lifetime. You can tell everyone that you went up against Canada’s most elusive predator. You hunted a real ghost--and won.
