A trophy Canadian whitetail is on every deer hunters bucket list.

Canadian Outfitters hunt true Canadian Shield whitetail. This means no fields, no fences, no baiting, and no hounds. Instead, in our remote hunting area you'll find millions of acres of unspoiled wilderness. With countless pine ridges, beaver ponds, and Ash swails, this is the true Canadian Whitetail hunt. One of the key strategies to harvesting a mature Ontario Whitetail is getting off the beaten path. This is why our hunt begins 55 miles north of the International Falls/Fort Frances border on Clearwater Lake. From there we travel by boat 25 miles to prime whitetail territory, on Pipestone Lake. As mentioned previously this is a true Canadian Whitetail hunt, so we do not bait or "feed" our deer, nor do we run them with hounds. Instead you will be strategically placed over natural deer funnels, pine ridges where deer naturally move, peninsulas, beaver ponds, and pinch points. As the rut kicks in we will begin to focus in on rub and scrape lines. Because these are remote unpressured deer (most of which have never seen a human), these big bucks are active in the daylight hours. The Canadian Sheild is dense, rocky, and well can be darn tough. This is not a hunt see high numbers of deer, but with patience and time you will harvest a mature whitetail on his natural rut rotation. If your ready to get off the beaten path and go on a true Canadian Whitetail hunt, Canadian Outfitters is the place for you!

2018 DEER HUNTS

Looking for the adventure of a lifetime - try on a DEER HUNT for size! When most deer hunters think about whitetails, monster Canadian bucks usually come to mind. Canadian deer are some of the largest in the world. The harsh winters with heavy snow fall and temperatures that dip down to -40°F, create a natural "cull" of the smaller weaker deer. This leaves us with the biggest toughest deer to breed, creating the ultimate whitetail gene. Oh, and did we mention they have the racks to match those 300 pound bodies?
